
The Final Tower
You are a wanderer in a post apocalyptic world who searched and found the final tower. On top of this tower is the one thing you want most. To get up there, you need to collect resources to build your way up, luckily you have necessary tools at your disposal. An axe to cut down trees, a pick to mine metal, your hands to gather thatch.
THE OBJECTIVE
Climb the tower by gathering resources to bild platforms and ramps. Trees are limited, so be sure to re-plant them as you cut them down.
CONTROLS:
- WASD -movement
- LSHIFT - sprint
- LMB - build/interact
- E (hold) - Inventory
- Z/C - Rotate buildables
to nagivate the inventory, hold e and click on the bubbles you want to select. you can also change it to toggle mode in the control settings.
Notes:
- The nights will last until you sleep in a cot, so be sure to have one placed and ready to sleep to the next day.

- You can die from fall damage. If you die, the day and progress will reset.
- You can only interact with stuff if you aren't in a sub menu, even if you aren't holding any tools

- Sapplings can be planted by selecting them in the resources menu.

- Pressing [P] can skip the intro poem.
Known issues:
- The Mow-Tron does not reset its "area mowed" value after each day.
- The Music does not change after each day.
- Placing some buildables in survival will show the "insufficient resources" message despite having been placed.
Planned Features:
- Temporal Baromenizer - The last gizmo that would allow for control of time speed, as well as weather toggle.
- 6 more endings - I originally planned to have 7 endings at the top of the tower depending on which day of the week it is. Most of the assets are already made and the voice lines are recorded, I just ran out of time to "animate" them all.
- Guide messages - toaster messages that would explain what to do at the begining of a new game.
- Improved Interface/Interaction Dynamic - The current system is a bit confusing with how you have to back out to the main landing interface to interact with stuff.
- Cheaping building cost - I think the resource cost for a bunch of the buildables is a bit too expensive, So I plan on lowering their costs.
- The Phantom - A ghost that will chase you after sun set to promote sleeping.
